Priya Srijith founded Medhakshethra as a home-based studio in 2016, nurturing a passion for Bharatanatyam. In 2020, she earned her Master of Arts in Bharatanatyam from Reva University. Recognizing the importance of preserving and propagating Indian arts and culture, she registered Medhakshethra as a trust on February 27, 2020.

With nine years of teaching experience, Priya specializes in the Kalakshethra style of Bharatanatyam. Her dedication to the art form is evident in her accomplishments:

• Member of the International Dance Council CID UNESCO:  This affiliation demonstrates her commitment to the global dance community.
• Extensive Teaching Experience: She has successfully trained over 250 students, fostering their artistic growth.
• Performance Expertise: Priya has performed on numerous stages across Karnataka and Kerala, showcasing her talent and artistry.
• Social Impact: She has generously provided free training to underprivileged students in collaboration with Akshaya Patra, making dance accessible to all.
• Choreographic and Pedagogical Excellence: Priya is a dedicated choreographer and teacher, ensuring her students receive certification and perform with grace and confidence.
