Medhakshethra Terms and Conditions
Classes Offered:
- Bharatnatyam
- Kathak
- Carnatic Vocal
- Yoga
- Sanskrit
- Gita and Shloka Classes
- Painting and Drawing
Trial and Fees:
- One free demo session per student.
- Fees must be paid in advance after the demo once you are willing to Join .
- Fees are non-refundable.
Teaching; Leaves and Administration:
- Medhakshethra directors and teachers have the right to determine teaching methods.
- Parents are requested not to interfere with teaching methods.
- Medhakshethra can assign teachers as needed.
- Classes are not held on public holidays and festivals; students can attend other batch classes to compensate.
- No compensatory classes for student absences; students can attend other batch classes.
- Compensatory classes are provided if a teacher is absent due to an emergency.
- Personal coaching is available at Rs. 1000 per hour, with mutually agreed timings.
Uniforms, Examinations and Performances :
- Uniforms are mandatory (Rs. 600 per pair).
- Annual Day participation is mandatory (Rs. 1000-1500 per student).
- External examinations are optional and charged as per the examining body.
- Internal certificates are free and provided annually.
- Stage performance participation is optional, with costume costs borne by parents.
- Medhakshethra will generally cover stage and other performance expenses, but may request parental support in some cases, such as the Annual Day.
Long Leave and Fee Waivers:
- Parents must inform the institute if a student is taking a long leave (more than one month).
- In cases of long leave, the fees for the absence period may be waived.
- Leaves of two weeks or less are not eligible for fee waivers. Students can compensate for these absences by attending additional classes in other batches.
Batch Assignment and Vacancy:
- Upon returning from leave, students can only be reassigned to their original batch if there is a vacancy.
- If the original batch is full, the student will be assigned to a new available batch.
General Expectations:
- Classical arts require patience and consistent practice.
- Parents are encouraged to support their children’s regular attendance and long-term commitment.
